City Council adopts new statutes for Chemnitz Music School
At its meeting today, the City Council approved changes to the statutes of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. The aim is to make the music school more customer-friendly and more competitive with other music schools.
Change to cancellation period
With the entry into force of the new statutes, it is possible to cancel the contract at any time at the end of the following month with an informal letter. This means that there is no longer a specified cancellation period. Cancellations that deviate from this period will be decided on a case-by-case basis by the head of an institution. Specified reasons, such as moving away or commencing university studies, were taken from the statutes.
Cancellation of the probationary period
The probationary period of two months has been cancelled without replacement.
