City centre experience app "Augmented Reality" to be launched soon
Press conference: 20 November, 2 p.m., Galeria Kaufhof, lower level in the foyer
On Monday, 20 November at 2 pm, representatives of the media are invited to a press conference on the project "Augmented Reality - Experiences for Chemnitz city centre" at Galeria Kaufhof am Markt, lower level in the foyer.
The "Augmented Reality" city centre experience app project will be launched on 23 November*.
The developers of the project from the Chemnitz agency Dschoy (formerly Kopfsatz) and Florian Hegewald, Project Coordinator City of Chemnitz, will explain the concept and be available to answer questions.
Other partners involved in the project will be represented: Sven Hertwig, location coordinator of Rathaus Passagen and Rosenhof; Jörg Knöfel, centre manager of Galerie Roter Turm; Torsten Dunkelmann, branch manager of Galeria Kaufhof Chemnitz, and Sylvia Stölzel, location coordinator of the ChemnitzCity initiative.
In November 2022, the city of Chemnitz won 3rd place in the competition "Ab in die Mitte - Die City-Offensive Sachsen" with its project entry "Augmented Reality - Erlebnisse für die Chemnitzer Innenstadt" (Augmented Reality - Experiences for Chemnitz city centre) as well as the special "Retail" prize from the SMWA.
