City and stakeholders invite you to the SPEZIAL citizens' forum

Further development of the Altendorf railway site

Bürgerforum Spezial: Bahnhof Altendorf

The City of Chemnitz, represented by Building Mayor Michael Stötzer and Christian Pilz, Deputy Head of the City Planning Office, and Deutsche Bahn with the planning office Station C 23, with the support of the Chemnitz Mitte-West citizens' platform, invite you to the SPEZIAL citizens' forum on 24 November at 5 pm in the Matthäuskirche community hall. November, 5 p.m., in the parish hall of the Matthäuskirche, Zinzendorfstraße 14.

Annett Illert, coordinator of the citizens' platform, will moderate the event.
Architect Michael Rudolph will explain the draft and the consideration of citizens' ideas from the citizens' workshop on 2 July 2015 on the urban development framework plan "Altendorf station area".

Markus Tümpel from the iG Güterbahnhof Altendorf cooperative will present a concept for the conversion of the Altendorf goods shed and its surroundings. At the end of the citizens' forum, the results are recorded and the next steps are determined.
Associations, initiatives and citizens from the districts of Schloßchemnitz, Kaßberg and Altendorf have joined forces in the Mitte-West citizens' platform to develop proposals for solutions to concerns and problems in their districts, which they negotiate as citizens with representatives from politics and administration.

All interested Chemnitz residents and local stakeholders are invited to this citizens' forum to find out about the current planning status and to actively participate.
