CITRAM research project with traffic light phase app in its fourth week of testing

Interested parties can still participate

A pilot project with citizen participation is running in Chemnitz on the Leipziger Strasse, Frankenberger Strasse and Annaberger Strasse test routes until 21 August. The participating test drivers have the opportunity to use a smartphone app to adapt their driving behaviour to the traffic lights. It is also of particular interest to see how the tested apps [ui!] ECOMAT and enviroCar are evaluated from the practical point of view of the users.

Please send any comments and criticisms by email to: tiefbauamt.verkehrslenkung(at)stadt-chemnitz.de

The pilot project is now approaching the halfway point. The City of Chemnitz and the project partners involved would like to thank all participants for their commitment and support of the research project to date.
Interested parties who have not yet taken part in the test are still welcome to register at: www.mvup.de/deutsch/forschungsprojekt-citram-1/testfeld-chemnitz/

The Federal Ministry of Transport is funding this project with a total of 1.72 million euros as part of the mFund modernisation fund. The city of Chemnitz is receiving a pro rata grant of around 90,000 euros.
