Citizens' Registration Office: Appointments for citizens' enquiries at the registration office can already be made for 2015 via the 115 public authority telephone number
In order to avoid waiting times, citizens who wish to contact the registration office of the City of Chemnitz with a request can also book an appointment in advance for 2015. Appointments can be made via the public authority telephone number 115.
Appointments for the following services can be booked via 115:
- Registration of residence when moving to Chemnitz
- Change of residence within Chemnitz
- Applying for an identity card
- Applying for a passport
- Applying for a child's passport
- Application for certificate of good conduct
- Application for an extract from the central trade register.
Appointments are only available for the registration office in the Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 09111 Chemnitz. Appointments can be booked for the following times:
Monday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.50 a.m.
Tuesday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Thursday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Friday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.50 a.m.
Note: Appointments are not available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please keep the agreed appointments, as the appointment will be cancelled if you are late. If an agreed appointment is no longer required, please cancel in good time.
