Coordinator Julia Hell on the future work of citizens in the Chemnitz-Mitte Citizens' Platform: With our new citizens' platform, we want to achieve long-term cooperation between as many different groups as possible in order to jointly improve living conditions in the district and to consult and negotiate with local politicians, the administration and businesses on an equal footing. In this way, we want to use the citizens' platform to help promote citizen participation in the Chemnitz-Mitte neighbourhood and raise existing structures to a more binding level of communication.
