On Friday 15 May - the bridge day after Ascension Day - the following departments of the City of Chemnitz Citizens' Office will be closed:
- Registry office, in Moritzhof (Bahnhofstraße 53)
- Lost property office, in the community centre Am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1)
- Vehicle registration office, in the community centre Am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1)
- Driver's licence office, in the community centre Am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1)
- Registration office/citizen service, in the community centre Am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1)
- Immigration office, in the community centre Am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1)
- Citizen service telephone 115
The Citizens' Service Centre in the Bürgerhaus Am Wall will also be closed on Saturday, 16 May.
All departments will be available again from Monday 18 May during the usual office hours.
Note on the lost property office:
The lost property office in the Bürgerhaus Am Wall (Webergasse entrance) is currently closed for citizens up to and including 15 May. However, lost property from CVAG buses and trains will continue to be recorded and registered in the lost property office. Questions as to whether an item has been handed in to the lost property office will be answered via the citizen service number 115. Enquiries by e-mail will be answered according to urgency. Lost property can be handed over in individual cases.
