Citizens' forum on the retail and centre concept

On 9 September, from 5 to approx. 7 pm at Pentagon3, Brückenstraße 17

The City of Chemnitz invites you to a citizens' forum on the retail and centre concept at Pentagon3, Brückenstraße 17, on Thursday, 9 September from 5 to 7 pm. (Entrance via the terrace level opposite the Karl Marx Monument)

On the one hand, the findings from the two previous online surveys and conclusions from the analysis of the current situation will be presented. On the other hand, citizens will once again have the opportunity to contribute their suggestions, opinions and ideas on the topic of retail.

The municipal retail and centre concept from 2016 is currently being updated. The opinions of Chemnitz residents are also being incorporated into the update.

In this context, two surveys have already been conducted on the topics of local supply and the city centre. Thanks to the high level of participation, important insights have been gained.

So far, citizens have been involved digitally via the participation portal of the Free State of Saxony. The local citizens' forum will round off the public participation programme.

Registration until 8 September

Under the current conditions, the event room allows a maximum of 100 people to participate - in compliance with the pandemic and hygiene rules applicable on the day of the event, including the proof to be provided (vaccinated, recovered, tested).

Registration is therefore required by 8 September.
This is preferably possible online (link or QR code) or by telephone on 0371 488 6167.
