Citizens' forum on the draft noise action plan stage 2
The Environmental Agency invites all interested citizens to a citizens' forum on the draft of the City of Chemnitz Noise Action Plan Stage 2 on Monday, 29 June at 6 pm. The venue is the "dasTietz" cultural centre at Moritzstraße 20.
The citizens' forum is a continuation of the public participation in the noise action plan. At the event, the citizens of Chemnitz will be informed about the noise problem and the noise action planning process in Chemnitz.
The planned noise reduction measures of the draft noise action plan stage 2 will be presented and can be discussed with invited experts.
Background information:
With the Noise Action Plan Stage 1, an urban concept for reducing road traffic noise pollution was developed for the first time in 2009/2010 and adopted by the City Council in 2011. The strategic noise maps, which were updated in 2012 as part of the 2nd stage of noise action planning, form the basis of the draft of the Noise Action Plan Stage 2.
