Citizens' consultation hours in August
Lord mayors and mayors offer personal talks - registration possible until 29 July
In August 2024, the people of Chemnitz will once again be able to talk to the Lord Mayor, the Mayoress and the mayors during citizens' consultation hours.
Interested parties can now register for all citizen consultation hours by calling 0371 488 1512 or sending an email to buergerbuero(at)stadt-chemnitz.de. The closing date for registrations is Monday 29 July at 4 pm.
The dates of the respective citizens' consultation hours are
- Thursday, 8 August, from 4 to 6 p.m. Lord Mayor Sven Schulze
- Thursday, 15 August, from 3.30 to 5.30 p.m. Mayor Knut Kunze
- Monday, 12. August, from 4 to 6 p.m.Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky
- Thursday, 22 August, from 3 to 5 p.m. Mayor Michael Stötzer
The individual personal interviews should last around 15 minutes each.
Who is the right person to talk to? - Compass:
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze for cross-departmental ideas for the development of the city.
As the "boss" of the City of Chemnitz team, he is open to the problems, improvements and wishes of the people of Chemnitz.

Mayor Knut Kunze for questions and concerns about law, safety and environmental protection. He is responsible for the legal office, the public order office, the citizens' office, the environmental office, the fire brigade, the food monitoring and veterinary office and the zoo and can help you here.
Date: Thursday, 15 August, from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky is open to ideas, suggestions or problems relating to social issues, youth, health, culture and sport. The cultural organisation, the Chemnitz art collections, the social welfare office, the youth welfare office, the sports office and the office for health and prevention work under her leadership.
Date: Monday, 12 August, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Mayor Michael Stötzer is the contact person for urban development and construction issues. He is responsible for building management and structural engineering, the urban planning office, the municipal surveying office, the building permit office, the traffic and civil engineering office and the green spaces office. He can provide information on these topics and is grateful for constructive suggestions.

We ask for your understanding that only a limited number of appointments are available for the citizens' consultation hours. It is therefore possible that not all registered citizens will be able to attend. Alternatively, concerns can also be addressed in writing to the Mayor's office at any time.
The citizens' consultation hours take place monthly.
They are subject to change and will be announced in good time.
