Cinematic advent calendar with 24 premieres
City library presents a film on its website every day until Christmas Eve
From Friday 1 December, Chemnitz City Library is offering a special kind of Advent calendar on its website. At www.stadtbibliothekchemnitz.de/aktuelles/news/filmischer-adventskalender-2023, a film premiere will be shown every day of December until Christmas Eve. All 24 feature and documentary films are a worthwhile discovery for young and old, often for the whole family.
The cinematic Advent calendar is presented by the streaming service filmfriend in cooperation with Chemnitz City Library and is intended to offer the opportunity to get to know the digital film offerings better. The film portal especially for public libraries can be accessed at: https://chemnitz.filmfriend.de/de/pages/home. Access is via the city library, which makes the film portal available to its users as a digital service. A valid library card and personal password are required.
