Christopher Street Day on 14 July

Traffic restrictions in the city centre from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

The Chemnitz Christopher Street Day demonstration will take place next Saturday, 14 July at 2 pm.

After the opening rally at Schillerplatz/Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, the procession will take the following route:

Färberstraße - Richard-Tauber-Straße - Straße der Nationen - Georgstraße, where there will be an interim rally in front of the new building at the main railway station (the coloured façade will be lit up for the CSD).The colourful facade will be lit up for the CSD) - then continue along Bahnhofstraße - Falkeplatz - Theaterstraße - Mühlenstraße - Georgstraße - Straße der Nationen to the Stadthallenpark.

Here, at the end of the assembly at around 3.30 pm, the participants will be seen off from the lorries. (Afterwards, they can take part in the "Park Summer" event).

The organisers are expecting around 400 participants.

There will be no major traffic restrictions. However, short-term operational road closures by the police are to be expected.
