Christmas peace
Once again this year, the City of Chemnitz will ensure that during the Christmas period and at the turn of the year 2013/2014, measures that are considered inappropriate during this time will be avoided. As in previous years, there is a so-called Christmas truce.
In the period from 23 December 2013 to 3 January 2014, the city treasurer Berthold Brehm therefore generally refrains from sending reminders and enforcing outstanding debts. Exceptions are only made if the statute of limitations and thus the final cancellation of the outstanding payment would be imminent.
