Once again this year, the City of Chemnitz will ensure that during the Christmas period and at the turn of the year 2012/2013, measures that are considered inappropriate during this time will be avoided. As in previous years, there is a so-called Christmas truce.

In the period from 21 December 2012 to 2 January 2013, there will therefore be no reminders or enforcement of outstanding debts, according to City Treasurer Berthold Brehm. There will only be exceptions if the statute of limitations and thus the final cancellation of the outstanding payment is imminent.
