Christmas greetings from Chemnitz
"The city is me": New City Card launched - campaign goes into the Christmas holidays
Christmas is the time when the family gets together and old friends meet up again at home. This is when Chemnitz becomes the meeting place for those returning home and the centre of the family. Share Christmas in Chemnitz with friends and relatives, even if they are not in the city. The new Christmas card makes it possible: Christmas is coming home, announces the City Card with the Nischel motif. The free postcard is now available at all City Card stands and town halls in the city.
The city is me
For nine months, the communication campaign "The city is me" has been inviting people to confess, join in and get involved. Small and large campaigns have brought it to life. Three Rock am Kopp concerts attracted several thousand, mostly young people, to the Karl-Marx-Kopf. Stars such as MC Fitti, I Heart Sharks and Ronny Trettmann played free concerts. Next year, the Nischel will once again have something to listen to.
The homepage www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de and the Facebook page on which Chemnitz residents share their solidarity with their home town serve as a communication platform. Every week, people are introduced who are particularly committed to Chemnitz with their project, idea or work. More than 40 personalities from the various fields of culture, business and sport have now declared their commitment to their city on the website www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de and in the official gazette as "Doers of the Week".
In addition to the "Doers of the Week", all Chemnitz residents can of course continue to show their support for their city on the homepage or on the Facebook page.
In addition to funny, charming and affectionate statements in words, pictures or videos, visitors will also find an official ambassador test. Where does Chemnitz get its name from? Which brand of bike does a committed Chemnitz cyclist ride? These and other questions test your knowledge of Chemnitz. Successful completion of the test is rewarded with respect and recognition. The city appoints every successful graduate who answers more than three quarters of the questions correctly as an "Official Bots©hafter for Chemnitz". They receive a small ambassador pack with the insignia of the office.
The campaign is kindly supported by Sparkasse Chemnitz.
