Christian Steyer reads from works by Stefan Heym
City Library: Reading with music, 12 June, 6.30 pm, TIETZ
On Monday, 12 June, from 6.30 to 8 p.m., Christian Steyer, the voice of the MDR programme "Elefant, Tiger und Co.", will read from Stefan Heym's book "Immer sind die Männer schuld". He will also be playing his own music on the electric piano. The reading will take place in the TIETZ event hall.

Self-deprecating, cheerful and full of tenderness, Stefan Heym writes about marriage and ageing - about female instinct, male guilt and the miracle of a love that has remained young in old age. Heym's latest collection of stories is a declaration of love to his wife and to life.
Christian Steyer, born in Vogtland in 1946, studied music in Leipzig and acting in Berlin.
He has appeared in over 50 film and television productions and composed music for numerous films and radio plays. He teaches at the Hochschule für Musik, works as a choirmaster and lives as a freelance actor, composer and pianist in Berlin.
