City library: Musical reading on 12 April, 6.30 p.m., event hall in the TIETZ
On Tuesday, 12 April at 6.30 pm, Chemnitz City Library invites you to a musical reading with theatre author, cultural journalist and music critic Manuela Miebach in the TIETZ event hall.
Admission is free of charge. Registration is required via the event link.
In her book "Christian Gottlob Neefe - Saxon composer and teacher of Ludwig van Beethoven", Manuela Miebach takes a look at the life of the Chemnitz-born composer. She sheds light on his musical work and his life from different perspectives.
The reading will be accompanied by pupils from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, who will perform selected works by Beethoven on the piano.
