Children's day at the "Window into the history of the earth"
The Museum of Natural History of the City of Chemnitz invites children to the "Window into Earth History" on Saturday, 2 June, from 10 am to 5 pm at Glockenstraße 16.
Enthusiastic naturalists can slip into the role of a palaeontologist and become researchers themselves. Participation is free of charge.
At six different stations, the children can look over the shoulders of researchers at work, experience show preparation and make fossil amulets. In the children's excavation, they can become researchers themselves and search for treasures. There are also exciting things to learn about the world in Chemnitz 291 million years ago.
The "Window into the Earth's History" project is subsidised by the European Social Fund.
