Children organise their own sports festival
Ideas are implemented with the federal "Future Package" programme - on 8 September, 3 p.m., "Kindertreffpunkt" daycare centre, Bernhardstraße 77
On Friday, 8 September at 3 p.m., the children of the "Kindertreffpunkt" day-care centre at Bernhardstraße 77 will kick off a sports festival that they have organised themselves with the help of their teachers. With the support of the City of Chemnitz's Children and Youth Officer, Ute Spindler, and the federal programme "Future Package for Culture, Exercise and Health", the children are organising their sports festival under the motto "Sportfrei, ich bin dabei".
Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
The pre-school children have been planning their sports festival with the teachers since January, with everyone contributing ideas. Now the teams compete in a joint game.
The girls and boys will receive new football goals from the federal programme "Future Package for Culture, Exercise and Health". These will be installed after the sports festival. The children will accompany the construction work and the realisation until the end of the year.
