Chemnitz2025" gallery launches on Citylight posters
Invitation to the Mayor's press conference on 26 May, 2 pm, cinema level of the Galerie Roter Turm
On the night of 26 May, the open-air exhibition "Chemnitz 2025" will be created on the city's Citylights.
A total of 182 artists responded to the call from the bid team for the European Capital of Culture 2025 and submitted their works. A specially appointed jury selected 51 very different works of art, which can be seen throughout the city from tomorrow.
In addition, the jury has selected three prize winners from the works, who will be honoured at tomorrow's press briefing by the Lord Mayor.
To mark the occasion, the press conference will exceptionally take place on the cinema level of the Galerie Roter Turm at 2 pm.
All prize winners, the youngest participant and two representatives of the jury will be present.
