Chemnitz2025 at the Christmas market

The Capital of Culture team has its own stand: on 17 December from 10 am to 9 pm.

Now it's time to reflect. In a Christmassy atmosphere, the Capital of Culture Office invites you to a relaxed chat about good wishes for the city. The team will be at the Christmas market on 17 December from
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Christmas market opposite the Türmer, answering questions and collecting ideas.

A lot has been initiated for the application in 2018. For example, the founding of the Chemnitz cultural region along the Chemnitz model, discussions about the bid's motto, thinking about strategic goals and talks about specific urban development projects. So there will be plenty to talk about when project manager Ferenc Csák and the staff of the Capital of Culture Office answer questions over the scent of almonds and Christmas carols.

But of course the stand will also offer the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, discuss suggestions or get to know the Chemnitz2025 Circle of Friends.

So may the people of Chemnitz feel cordially invited to pause for a moment during the Advent rush and simply dream: What could Chemnitz look like in seven years' time? Perhaps as the European Capital of Culture?
