On Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 September, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Oberrabenstein Wildlife Park and the Tierparkfreunde Chemnitz e. V. association are once again inviting visitors to the Wildlife Park Festival.
In addition to the European wild animals, which are kept on approx. 35 hectares of woodland, visitors can expect a varied programme for all age groups on both days with lots of interesting facts and numerous hands-on activities.
Guests at the event will include institutions and organisations such as the state enterprise Sachsenforst, the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland Landesverband Sachsen e. V., the Kreisjagdverband Chemnitz e. V., the Imkerverein Chemnitz 1874 e. V. and wild und frei - Waldwissen.
How to get there
The game reserve is located at Thomas-Müntzner-Höhe, wing 3. Parking is available at Rabenstein Castle, at the Oberrabenstein reservoir and on Grünaer Straße (car park near the Weißer Stein).
