Chemnitz Zoo invites you to the children's festival on public holiday
On Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the traditional children's festival (poster) on the October bank holiday is on the calendar at Chemnitz Zoo. Visitors are invited to the area on Nevoigtstraße for a colourful non-stop programme on the Festwiese stage - including dance performances, a magic programme for girls and boys and a juggler. Girls and boys can also let off steam on a climbing mountain and a bouncy castle on the Festwiese and put their skills to the test at the Tigerenten Rodeo.
There will also be lots of activities and hands-on activities in the zoo grounds, such as a milking competition, face painting, a zoo quiz and various craft activities. As usual, the zoo's support organisation - the Tierparkfreunde Chemnitz - will of course be on site with a wheel of fortune and information stand. Visitors' physical well-being will also be well catered for with a number of delicious offers.
And what is ultimately the main attraction at the children's festival at Chemnitz Zoo - there are currently almost 900 animals: they can be visited and observed on an eventful walk through the grounds. Short guided tours - including in the vivarium and with the predators - are also part of the children's festival programme.
