Chemnitz Spring Market
Colourful Easter market on Neumarkt - from 7 to 16 April (except Sundays and public holidays)
From 7 to 16 April (except on 10 and 15 April), the City of Chemnitz is holding a spring market on the Neumarkt by the town hall. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
Colourful market decorations with Easter crowns and flower arrangements will get the people of Chemnitz and their guests in the mood for spring and Easter. There will be around twelve stalls selling Easter products such as flowers and Easter decorations as well as plants and gifts. The youngest market visitors can take a spin on the children's carousel. On the two Saturdays, 9 and 16 April, various children's activities will be on offer. Street musicians will provide all kinds of entertainment on Saturday, 16 April. Snacks and drinks round off the market visit.
Preview of the plant and flower market on 1 May
On 1 May, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the popular plant and flower market - with colourful offers for gardens and balconies - will take place at the market in Chemnitz. Food and drinks will also be on offer again.
