Chemnitz school model officially celebrates its arrival
Invitation to the press conference on Tuesday, 25 June 2013 - 2 pm, Stollberger Straße 25
Since the beginning of the year, the approximately 400 pupils of the Chemnitz School Model (CSM) have been using their new home in Stollberger Straße. Grades 5 to 10 moved in first after the winter holidays. Grades 1 to 4 then took up their lessons there. On 28 June, the school will open its doors from 6 p.m. with teachers, pupils, parents, friends and interested parties for its official moving-in ceremony.
Headmaster Jens Berger and Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig cordially invite you to an on-site press conference on Tuesday, 25 June 2013 at 2 pm. The meeting point is in the foyer / school cafeteria. Pupils will then give a guided tour of the building.
The conversion of the former speech therapy school at Stollberger Straße 25 into a school building for the Chemnitz school model included the renovation of the building, which was built in 1971, and the construction of an extension. The city of Chemnitz invested 6.38 million euros in the new school location.
