Chemnitz resists - my dream for tomorrow
Call for entries - deadline is the end of the year
The city archive has launched a new project. Under the title "Chemnitz resists - my dream for tomorrow", Chemnitz residents have been invited since April 2020 to share their stories, their experiences of dealing with the current difficulties and their dreams for the future. The stories will be collected until the end of 2020, after which the city archive will begin analysing and processing them.
"The city archive, as the centre of the city's memory, would like to collect the stories and present them later in an appropriate form," says Dr Paolo Cecconi, head of the city archive. Chemnitz residents, guests, parents, grandparents and children who are looking for a new everyday life in the current situation and who do not give up despite difficulties and who are proud of the city and its history are invited to take part.
