Chemnitz residents invited to the Heym Prize award ceremony

The people of Chemnitz are cordially invited to the award ceremony for the 2020 International Stefan Heym Prize of the City of Chemnitz and the 2020/21 International Stefan Heym Sponsorship Awards on Sunday, 10 October at 6.30 pm in the Opera House. Admission is free.

The Croatian writer and journalist Slavenka Drakulić and the Swedish author and journalist Richard Swartz are the winners of the 2020 International Stefan Heym Prize of the City of Chemnitz. With this award, the Board of Trustees honours the long-standing literary and journalistic work of the author couple. The Stefan Heym Sponsorship Prizes are awarded to five projects that deal with the life, work and influence of Stefan Heym.
Programme:

- Followed by a reception and book signing
- End of the event around 9.30 pm
