On Friday, 28 September 2012, the Chemnitz registry office will be closed due to a symposium in Görlitz and the annual general meeting of the registrars of the Free State of Saxony.

However, notifications of births and deaths will be accepted.

Citizens can obtain further information during office hours at the registry office or by telephone Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. via the authorities' telephone number 115. Callers outside Chemnitz should dial 0371/115.
