Chemnitz presents itself at Expo Real 2024 in Munich
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze presents Chemnitz as an attractive location for investment - Lecture on 7 October, 1.30 pm
From Monday to Wednesday, 7 to 9 October, the City of Chemnitz will be exhibiting at the international trade fair for real estate and investment Expo Real, at the joint stand of the Free State of Saxony, Stand 320, Hall A2, Messe München.
Under the title "Building tomorrow", a varied forum programme will be offered at the joint Saxon stand. As European Capital of Culture 2025, Chemnitz has an artistic surprise in store for visitors to the stand in addition to exciting projects and spaces.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will be on site on two days of the trade fair and will give a talk on Monday, 7 October at 1.30 pm on the topic of "Chemnitz - A sustainably growing technology and industrial city" and present the city as an attractive location for investment.
The team from the Business Division will be represented at the joint stand throughout the trade fair and will present the topics of Chemnitz as European Capital of Culture 2025, Chemnitz as an industrial and technology location and industrial districts.
On Monday at 5.30 pm, Silvana Bergk, Head of the Business Division, Tilmann Weigel, Managing Director of Gewerbepark A4 Chemnitz GmbH, and René Kästner, Curator of "Hallenkunst 2025" and Managing Director of Red Tower GmbH, will jointly show how technology and culture are growing together in the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz. On the one hand, they will explain how the business division provides a comprehensive service and a strong local network for resident and future Chemnitz companies. On the other hand, René Kästner will present "Hallenkunst" as a project within the framework of Chemnitz 2025, which is supported by Tillmann Weigel, who is committed to the art scene in Chemnitz, with premises in his historic Cammann House.
A special highlight: several paintings by international artists involved in "Hallenkunst" will be presented at the trade fair stand.
The international trade fair for property and investment - Expo Real - is the most important trade fair for the property sector and offers a comprehensive overview of developments, topics, innovations and solutions in the property industry. It enables a forward-looking exchange for all stakeholders in the property industry.
