Chemnitz presents Brühl at EXPO REAL
Property fair in Munich with focus on Brühl and Smart Systems Campus
The city of Chemnitz is presenting its most promising urban development project at the EXPO REAL property fair, which is being held in Munich from 7 to 9 October: The Brühl neighbourhood is the focus of the Chemnitz presentation. The aim is to present the neighbourhood to potential investors, partners and interested parties and to outline the current status and future developments.
Building Mayor Petra Wesseler will be giving a talk on the topic of "Brühl Boulevard and University Quarter Development Core" at the City Centre Development Forum on Monday from 2 pm. "The Brühl is the biggest urban development project of the next few years," says Petra Wesseler. "The Free State is converting the Aktienspinnerei into a university library. This will bring several thousand students to the Brühl. We are developing the neighbouring residential area around Brühl Boulevard for families, shops and creative people - this is exciting for investors and creative people alike. And a big task for us urban planners."
On Tuesday, the Chemnitz Business Promotion and Development Corporation will be focussing on Chemnitz as an industrial and technology location, in particular the Smart Systems Campus.
The Chemnitz presentation is part of the Free State of Saxony's trade fair presence under the motto "Go for Saxony - Cities with a Future".
