Chemnitz outdoor pools open without visitor cap
Swimming festivals at the Wittgensdorf and Gablenz outdoor pools
The upper visitor limits in the Chemnitz outdoor swimming pools are suspended due to the long-lasting undercutting of the incidence value of 10 in coordination with the health department of the city of Chemnitz as well as with the corresponding hygiene requirements of the state of Saxony.
They apply again from an incidence value of over 10.
Outdoor pools invite you to swimming festivals
- Wittgensdorf outdoor pool on 24 July, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Gablenz outdoor pool on 25 July, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Numerous activities such as a mat run, slide contest, head long jump, chair swimming competition, T-Wall16 and surf simulator await guests.

The visitor limit of 120 simultaneous users (50-metre swimming pool) remains in place at Chemnitz City Pool in order to comply with the approved hygiene protection concept.
