Chemnitz outdoor pool season with around 58,200 visitors
The 2020 outdoor pool season in Chemnitz is over. A total of around 58,200 visitors were counted in the three pools.
The months of June and July were very mixed due to the weather and had a very low visitor response with a total of 25,300 guests.
As expected, August, with its stable weather conditions, was the month with the highest number of visitors, totalling around 32,700.
Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the weather conditions, this year's outdoor pool season was significantly lower than the previous year with a total of 108,000 visitors.
The provisional visitor figures for the outdoor pools in detail:
Einsiedel outdoor pool: 10,500 visitors
Wittgensdorf outdoor pool: 23,400 visitors
Gablenz outdoor pool: 24,300 visitors
Total: 58,200 visitors
