Chemnitz movers and shakers - very sporty!
Exhibition from 22 September to 17 October in Richard-Hartmann-Halle
From today, the exhibition "Chemnitzer Macher" can be seen in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle. As many athletes have their say in the city marketing campaign "The city is me", the photo exhibition is now also being shown in a sporting venue. Especially on 1 October and 8 October, when the NINERS invite visitors to their home games in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle, many spectators will come across the exhibition.
You can read interesting statements by members of WSV Grüna, the Chemcats and the Nischlhuppers. Rope jumper Frizzi Seltmann also talks about her success as a three-time world champion. Alexander Liebers talks about the hardships of Heavy24, a mountain bike race at the Rabenstein reservoir. Frank Bihra, organiser of the Fichtelberg Cycle Marathon, and Thomas Ebell from the Chemnitz Swimming Club have organised major events in Chemnitz. In addition to sport, movers and shakers from the worlds of culture, business and leisure also talk about their passion and their love for the city.
The "Chemnitzer Macher" exhibition with these and other stories will remain in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle until 17 October.
The "Macher" magazine, in which the interviews are printed in more detail, is available to take away. The interviews are archived in full at www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de
