Chemnitz movers and shakers ready for take-off
Exhibition moves to Dresden Airport
From today, air travellers can visit the "Chemnitzer Macher" exhibition at Dresden Airport for nine weeks. After the exhibition has been on display in the Schönherrfabrik, the Stadtbad and most recently in the Chemnitz Technology Centre, it is now crossing the city limits of Chemnitz for the very first time.
In the waiting area after the security check at Dresden Airport, stories from the minds of Chemnitz can be read until 18 August. Artists, young entrepreneurs, sportspeople, clubs, creative artists and tradespeople will be presenting themselves, their ideas and projects for Chemnitz. To shorten the waiting time for the flight, airport guests can find out about more than 100 personalities from Chemnitz, their love for the city and their professional or voluntary passions.
As part of the city marketing campaign "The city is me", the exhibition has been running since 2014 and is constantly changing its location to make it accessible to everyone.
