Chemnitz makers in the Roter Turm Gallery

Eight new stories in the exhibition - from 15 to 28 August 2016

Chemnitzer Macher

What Chemnitz has to offer and the minds behind the numerous projects, companies and ideas will be on show from Monday at the "Chemnitzer Macher" exhibition in the city centre. The photo exhibition will be on show for a fortnight in the Nikolaipassage of the Galerie Roter Turm. 70 personalities from the interview series of the city marketing campaign "The city is me" talk about their passion and their view of the city.

New to the exhibition, for example, are the makers of the high-tech company Intenta, the start-up Mr Snow, the soap shop Beti Lue. and the fitness offer from Mamiinform. The Nischelhupper, the sports club WSV Grüna, the dedicated helpers from Young Connection and the Wunderland Physik of Chemnitz University of Technology will also be there.
Many other people from the city who have been interviewed since March 2014 in the city marketing campaign "The city is me" talk about their projects and their love for Chemnitz.

The maker magazine, in which the interviews are printed in more detail, is also available to take away. The interviews are archived in full at www.die-stadt-bin-ich.de.

The exhibition can be visited until the city festival, i.e. until 28 August during the opening hours of the Galerie Roter Turm. The maker exhibition was shown for the first time in December 2015 at Chemnitz Town Hall. It can be seen at other locations in Chemnitz throughout the year.
