Chemnitz makers at the vocational school

Exhibition from 17 October to 7 November 2016 at Berufliches Schulzentrum Wirtschaft I

From today, pupils at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Wirtschaft I vocational school centre can get to know the stories of Chemnitz's movers and shakers from the city marketing campaign "Die Stadt bin ich". The "Chemnitzer Macher" exhibition is moving to Lutherstraße 2 for three weeks.
Photos and testimonials from 70 Chemnitz personalities from the worlds of culture, business, leisure and sport are on display on all three floors.

With the choice of location, the exhibition is explicitly aimed at young people in the city to show what life paths are possible for Chemnitz founders, entrepreneurs and researchers. For example, the snowboard manufacturer silbaerg explains how its spin-off from the
TU Chemnitz. The traditional company Railbeton Haas KG presents the concrete parts it manufactures and sells throughout Germany. And the software company Megware reports on the fastest computer in the world.

The school centre is open from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm.
