The delegation will also hold a working meeting with representatives of the city of Taiyuan to discuss possibilities for further cooperation.

This visit will be the second time that doctors from both twin cities have exchanged ideas. A four-person delegation from the No 2 People's Hospital in the twin city of Taiyuan visited Chemnitz in September last year. The doctors visited medical and social facilities and exchanged ideas with German colleagues. A cooperation agreement was also signed between the representatives of the Chinese hospital and Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH.

The twinning agreement between Chemnitz and Taiyuan was signed in 1999 - Information: www.chemnitz.de
