Chemnitz Cycling Day 2017
The family bike tour on Sunday, 20 August 2017
The city of Chemnitz is organising the Chemnitz Cycling Day for the 20th time. As in the previous year, there will be attractive opportunities for those interested in cycling and families to experience this family cycle tour together. Among other things, there are two cycle courses to choose from (family cycle course and sporty cycle course). At the VITA-CENTER, there will be an event area with sporting activities to take part in and information about cycling. There will also be various activities for children, from a bike course to climbing games and a bouncy castle. All participants can of course enjoy refreshments and drinks at the "cyclist snack bar".
Programme:
Meeting point: from 9 am, Am Wall/Theaterstraße
Start: 10 am, Am Wall/Theaterstraße for the family cycle tour (approx. 9 km)
Finish: approx. 10.45 a.m., VITA-CENTER
End of the family course
(use of all event facilities / children's course / catering at the event location - VITA-CENTER, Upper Main Entrance West)
Continuation of the circular route (approx. 32 km) approx. 11 a.m.
Finish: approx. 1 p.m. - VITA-CENTER event area
Presentation, musical entertainment, information stands, children's course, catering
End of the event: approx. 3 p.m.
