Chemnitz City Library with new website
The city library's new website went online today. The familiar address: www.stadtbibliothek-chemnitz.de has been completely redesigned and is now characterised by greater user-friendliness, an improved, clear page structure and an easy-to-understand introduction to the extensive range of offers and services.
A new feature is the explanation of how to use the library in simple language, which further emphasises the city library's inclusive approach.
The new city library website is divided into four main categories:
- News and events can be found under News
- Library Digital brings together all online services such as the Onleihe, Filmfriend, e-learning and databases
- The Offers & Media Education section provides an overview of the numerous event formats and services offered by the city library
- Library & Service contains answers to all questions relating to library use
The City Library is happy to collect customer feedback on the new website in order to further develop the site. Visitors can make suggestions and criticisms directly on the website or contact the library via information(at)stadtbibliothek-chemnitz.de or via library chat.
