Chemnitz City Library: Return to normal operations
Reading, working and researching possible on site again
From Monday 21 June, the city library's facilities will expand their services and return to normal operation after the corona-related restrictions. It is once again possible to use the library rooms as a place to spend time, work and study. The advice desks in the individual libraries are open again and media information can be provided. Individual workstations and Internet workstations are also available. Opening hours will be extended again.
Wearing a medical face mask is still mandatory.
Current opening hours from 21 June 2021:
- Central library in the TIETZ:
Mon, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. / Tue, Thu, Fri, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. / Wed, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. / Sat, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Vita Centre district library:
Mon, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / Thurs, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. / Sat, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Yorck Centre District Library:
Tue, Fri, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / Thurs, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Einsiedel neighbourhood library:
Tue, 10 am to 12 noon / 1 pm to 6 pm
- Wittgensdorf District Library:
Fri, 10 am to 12 noon / 1 pm to 5 pm
- Röhrsdorf Lending Centre:
Thu, 12 to 16.45
- Klaffenbach lending desk:
Mon (1st and 3rd of the month) 5 to 7 p.m.
