Chemnitz city council meets in the stadium on Gellertstraße

On Wednesday, 29 April 2020 at 3 pm, the Chemnitz City Council meeting will not take place as usual in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall, but in the stadium on Gellertstraße on the conference level due to the current Corona Protection Ordinance - in order to comply with the distance rules.
Due to the limited space available, journalists are requested to let us know by 12 noon tomorrow, 28 April, whether they would like to attend the meeting on site and if so, with how many people.
As usual, the City Council meeting will be broadcast live HERE.
From May, almost all committees, advisory boards and local councils will also be able to meet again. Due to social distancing rules, most committee meetings will take place in the city council chamber. Due to its size, the Youth Welfare Committee will take place in the Kraftwerk building at Kaßbergstraße 36.
