Chemnitz City Council 2013 in figures
Yesterday's meeting of Chemnitz City Council was the last meeting of the city council for this year. Including this meeting, there were a total of ten public and six non-public meetings of the Chemnitz City Council in the council chamber of the New Town Hall last year.
The meeting time - public and non-public deliberations combined - totalled more than 29 hours. The shortest meeting was in January with 2 hours, the longest debate was in December with around 4 ½ hours. All in all, the plenary session dealt with 117 public and six non-public draft resolutions on behalf of Chemnitz and the citizens of Chemnitz. The committee ultimately adopted 105 public and five non-public administrative proposals.
A total of 25 proposed resolutions (all public) were on the agenda in 2013. A total of 21 motions were adopted and thus issued to the administration. A total of 21 information proposals were on the agenda this year. There was one urgent decision by the Lord Mayor this year.
The 439 enquiries submitted by the City Council are still a significant number and therefore a significant amount of work for the administration as the addressee of the enquiries.
