Chemnitz Adult Education Centre: "Mum makes me ill"
A documentary about the children of mentally ill people - on 28 March, 6.45 pm
On Wednesday 28 March at 6.45 pm, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to the documentary "Mama makes me sick", a documentary about the children of mentally ill people. The film has a length of 43 minutes and will be shown in the TIETZ, course room 4.07.

In Germany, around two to three million children live in families in which at least one parent has a mental illness. The film portrays children, adolescents and young adults and shows what it means when a parent suffers from a mental illness. Through the open stories from the real lives of those affected, the film aims to create understanding for the situation of the children and motivate others affected to deal openly with the illness, even if the subject is often still taboo.
