Chemnitz Adult Education Centre launches Xpert Business Online courses

From financial accounting, payroll accounting and accounting to tax law and human resources management - Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is now offering a significantly expanded range of face-to-face and online courses as part of the nationwide Xpert Business course and certificate system.

Thanks to the Xpert Business learning network, Chemnitz Adult Education Centre can now also guarantee that courses with low attendance will be held. If there are not enough participants for a face-to-face seminar, they can attend a nationwide online course, a so-called webinar. Participants take part in the webinars from home via the Internet.

Flexible continuing education with Xpert Business and the LernNetz

The advantages of the nationwide continuing education network Xpert Business are many and varied and enable flexible learning from home with the help of the LernNetz.

The courses can be booked and taken at adult education centres anywhere in Germany - with uniform quality and examination standards. Webinars complement the programme and appeal to participants who want to continue their education outside of adult education centre opening hours.

Another advantage is the modular structure of Xpert Business courses - including LernNetz webinars. The short and manageable course modules comprise 50 to 60 teaching hours and can be completed with a separate examination as a basis for further course modules.

Xpert Business offers credit points for studying

At many universities and chambers, credit points are recognised for Xpert Business degrees, for example at many locations of the FOM University of Applied Sciences, several chambers of crafts and trades and nationwide at the Euro-Fernhochschule.

The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is located in the heart of the city of Chemnitz, right next to the central bus stop at Moritzstraße 20. As the largest municipal education provider, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre occupies the fourth and fifth floors of the Tietz building with a total of 33 mostly multifunctional, state-of-the-art course rooms. The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre employs 16 members of staff and over 350 course instructors from more than 30 countries. More than 13,000 learners from 68 countries took part in around 35,000 lessons (total annual figures for 2016). This means that the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is roughly the size of a three-form grammar school.
