Chemnitz 2025 in European exchange
Invitation to the press breakfast: Friday, 26 January, 9 a.m. at the Capital of Culture Office, Rosenhof 6
On Friday 26 January at 9 a.m., representatives of the media are invited to a press breakfast at the Capital of Culture Office. From now on, the Capital of Culture Office will be organising regular press breakfasts to report on the current status of the application in a relaxed atmosphere. For the first exchange of this kind, the main focus will be on European networking.
Chemnitz on its way to becoming Capital of Culture 2025 also means that Chemnitz is intensifying its dialogue with Europe. Nino Micklich from Chemnitz will report on an initial networking project.
At the end of last year, Micklich attended a European LAB in Timisoara on behalf of Chemnitz 2025, where he met cultural players from future Capitals of Culture. In addition to Chemnitz and Timisoara, the LAB also included Rijeka and Novi Sad. A first joint international project has already been developed. He will talk about the exchange and the joint projects at the press breakfast.
Ferenc Csák, project manager for the Capital of Culture application, will also be available to answer any further questions on the current status of the application.
