Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz celebrates its 50th anniversary
Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH - CAC for short - is celebrating its 50th anniversary today with a ceremony and is looking back on a long, varied and successful company history with a "Retrospectacle".
Mayor Barbara Ludwig congratulated the company at the ceremony: "CAC is the bearer of a long tradition of plant engineering in Chemnitz, which is not only lovingly cultivated, but also proactively promoted and constantly renewed. The city benefits from companies like CAC in many ways: as a major employer, as a taxpayer, interns gain their first experience and students write their theses and perhaps get their first job. This keeps people and families in the city. As a result, CAC also plays a part in Chemnitz's growth. And last but not least, with its international orientation, the company is helping to spread the reputation of the industrial city of Chemnitz worldwide."
For 50 years, the company, which currently has around 275 employees, has had expertise in the fields of refinery and gas technology, petrochemicals, inorganic chemistry and fine and speciality chemicals. The company takes on tasks ranging from planning and construction to the commissioning of complex plants and sub-plants.
