Changed traffic routing at the intersection of Bahnhofstraße and Brückenstraße Strasse
Coordinated construction project for the renewal of the track triangle
From this afternoon, lane closures will be necessary at the Bahnhofstraße/Brückenstraße junction for the laying of the construction track from Brückenstraße and initial work on the sewer construction. As a result, only one lane in each direction will be available on Bahnhofstraße. Traffic is still possible in every direction, except for left turners, who will be diverted accordingly.
To avoid congestion, it is recommended to bypass the junction from all directions via Theaterstraße and Mühlenstraße. See relief route in the diversion plan (blue line).
In addition, the diversion route via Park der Opfer des Faschismus (one-way street) will be put into operation. It is therefore possible to bypass the junction via Zschopauer Straße in the direction of Augustusburger Straße and cycle in the opposite direction.

The construction project is a collaboration between CVAG and the city's civil engineering department and, in addition to the track triangle, affects the neighbouring footpaths and cycle paths as well as the barrier-free expansion of existing stops.
