City Council made decision on dismissal and new appointment
A change in the management of Fortbildungszentrum Chemnitz gGmbH (FBZ) is taking place due to the age of the company. In the closed part of its meeting on 27 November 2013, the Chemnitz City Council resolved the necessary requirements in accordance with the articles of association and authorised the shareholder of the City of Chemnitz to make the declarations required for the dismissal and appointment of managing directors at the FBZ shareholders' meeting.
The sole managing director of the FBZ, Hans-Werner Grießl, will leave the company on 31 December 2013 for reasons of age. Hans-Werner Grießl has been Managing Director of FBZ since 1991.
His successor, Enrico Hedt (born 1958), who has a degree in business administration and professional experience, took over as Managing Director on 1 December 2013.
Fortbildungszentrum Chemnitz gGmbH (FBZ) is a company owned by the city of Chemnitz. The non-profit organisation's main area of activity is vocational training measures to promote employment and the coordination of job opportunities in the context of basic security for jobseekers. An additional pillar for the company is the Hotel Schloss Rabenstein, which reopened in 2012 and is operated as an integration project.
The company is based at Wielandstraße 4 in 09112 Chemnitz.
