The award ceremony of the International Stefan Heym Prize of the City of Chemnitz will be streamed live on YouTube on Sunday, 10 October, from 6.30 pm.

The Mayor of Chemnitz, Sven Schulze, will honour the Croatian writer Slavenka Drakulić and the Swedish author Richard Swartz with the International Stefan Heym Prize of the City of Chemnitz at a ceremony on Sunday in the presence of the Saxon Minister of Culture, Barbara Klepsch. The literature prize is endowed with 20,000 euros.
On the evening, five projects will also be honoured with the International Stefan Heym Awards. Like the literature prize, the sponsorship prizes also have a total value of 20,000 euros.
