Ceremonial admission of the new trainees and students at Chemnitz City Council
On Monday, 2 September 2013, Mayor Berthold Brehm will welcome the new trainees of Chemnitz City Council in the City Council Chamber of Chemnitz City Hall. The ceremonial event begins at 10 a.m. - representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
A total of 25 trainees and students are starting their training at Chemnitz City Council this year: these include 14 trainees in the profession of administrative assistant and two animal keepers specialising in zoology. Seven students are studying for a Bachelor of Laws degree in higher general administration and two students are training to become social pedagogues with a Bachelor of Arts degree. With the new trainees and students, the city administration is currently training 68 young professionals. The city is training in line with demand. Preparations are underway to train four paramedics for the start of training in October 2013 and ten fire officer candidates for the start of training in January 2014.
